Week 9!

I think now it is happening for real and I hope it doesn’t stop…the hair is growing! Still a bit scarce at the top (thus the “bald man” look continues), but hopeful that in a few weeks the wig will stop coming out the house with me. There is also a lot of grey hairs, but I do not care about that. And my skin post-chemo is pretty crap. What’s with the spots? I aint a teenager anymore!!!

    Rosa I am enjoying your hair growth blog! It is not boring at all!
    We are almost on the same schedule – well you are actually 1 week ahead of me. I finished my chemo on Jan 19.
    Right now I am doing 5 1/2 weeks of radiation but other than that I am continuing with my busy life as a stay-at-home mom to 2 teenagers.
    I call radiation my part-time job – just a couple of hours out of each day!
    Thank you so much for posting your photos. It is good to see how much hair you have and to compare!

      Thanks so much for your commment…it is just that for so long (well only a few weeks) that the hair didn’t change that i felt it was boring!!! glad you are enjoying it!! is your hair growing back now? mine, compared to other women, is growing slowly…but surely 😉

      I hope your radio is going well – I have just 4 more to do and cannot wait to finish the daily hospital visitss. take care! x

    You have NO IDEA how much your site means to me. I look at it, DAILY! I just finished chemo 2 weeks ago and I am obsessed about my hair.
    Your courage to post your pic’s has helped me TREMENDOUSLY! Strong women like you, help women like me who are just starting this journey. You give us a better understanding of what is going to happen!
